Hello EV Tuesday readers.

How are we all? Are you having a good week so far?

Now is the time to take a quick break from whatever you are doing, pick up a drink and sit down for 10 minutes to go through the links we have chosen this week.

We will be posting this to our social media channels including FacebookTwitter & Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit). If you have access to our blog, you will get an extra item :)

Right, ready.....steady.........GO!!

Feedback, Requests, Questions?
As always, please give us feedback on Twitter. Which item is your favourite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions?  Just send a tweet to @ev_cables and put #EVTuesdays at the end so we can find it.

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: INSTAVOLT

The Instavolt App runs alongside our contactless payment option and provides another simple way to access our award winning DC Rapid Electric Vehicle charging network.

2. EV NEWS: THE DRIVEN

Five striking new electric vehicles that debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show. The world’s biggest car show is underway in Shanghai. With the global pandemic mainly behind us, the Shanghai auto show in 2023 has shaped out to be one of the most progressive showcases of new and upcoming EVs.

3. EV TIP: PLAN YOUR SUMMER ROAD TRIP

Plan your EV summer road trip. We think it’s still good to have a basic checklist to make sure you are as prepared as possible:

Check your tyre pressure
Make sure you have your cables
Check which chargers your car is compatible with
Plan your route in advance

Luckily, there are plenty of free resources available to help you plan your route. Zap-Map and A Better Route Planner are two apps, which allow users to plan an EV journey based on the chargers available during the route and the range of the car used. An excellent way to help get rid of that range anxiety!

4. EV CHARGE: OPEN CHARGE MAP

Open Charge Map is a non-commercial, non-profit, electric vehicle data service hosted and supported by a community of businesses, charities, developers and interested parties around the world.

5. EV REVIEW: HEY CAR

Volkswagen ID.2all

The new Volkswagen ID.2 will be an affordable electric car when it goes on sale in 2025. Set to rival the Vauxhall Corsa-e and Peugeot e-208, Volkswagen says its new electric car will have a range of up to 280 miles and a price tag of around £22,000.
