What a scorcher of a week we have had! Hasn't the beautiful sunshine been a welcomed sight!

MP urges Government to tackle EV ‘charging divide’ and grant millions more drivers access to home charging. Helen Maguire MP tables amendment to Planning and Infrastructure Bill enabling drivers without private driveways to access reliable and affordable home charging solutions.

3. EV TIP: HOT WEATHER

In hot weather, electric vehicles (EVs) can experience reduced range and potential battery issues. To mitigate these effects, it's recommended to park in the shade, precondition the cabin while plugged in, use air conditioning sparingly, and avoid frequent fast charging. Additionally, maintaining proper tire pressure and monitoring battery temperature are crucial for optimal performance and longevity.

Audi RS6

Audi RS6 to keep V8 with new hybrid alongside EV. Both hybrid and electric performance A6s are being readied for 2026. The next Audi RS6 will be completely electrified for its fifth generation in 2026, when it will arrive with both a plug-in hybrid V8 powertrain and a fully electric one – a first for Audi Sport.
