Week 16: 22nd February 2022
Hello EV Tuesday readers. What a unique date it is today. Did you know todays date is both an ambigram and a palindrome? It reads the same upside down and back to front!
How are we all? Are you having a good week so far? We have been busy here at EV Cables sourcing some excellent tools, tips, videos and podcasts for you to look at.
We have a fantastic Facebook Group for you to join which has lots of relevant information for you to look at. Now is the time to take a quick break from whatever you are doing, pick up a drink and sit down for 10 minutes to go through the links we have chosen this week.
As usual we will be posting these on our social media channels including Facebook, Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit) & Twitter, head over and give us a follow, like or an upvote. If it is an extra item you would like, sign up to our blog right here.
Until next time, happy reading!

2. EV News: Electrek
Tesla’s Director of Artificial Intelligence, Andrej Karpathy, says that he believes ‘Tesla Bot’ is 'on track to become the most powerful AI development platform.'
3. EV Tip: Tend to your Tyres
Sources suggest that over 25% of all vehicles on the road have improperly inflated tires. As with a conventional auto, driving an EV with under-inflated tires will not only increase its energy consumption, but can lead to uneven and/or premature tread wear.
Check the air pressure frequently using a simple tire gauge, as it can vary by an average of one PSI (pound per square inch) with every 10-degree (Fahrenheit) change in air temperature. Have the tires properly inflated according to the PSI recommended by the automaker. This information is usually noted on a sticker that’s affixed to the driver’s-side door frame.
4. EV Social Media: Co Charger
Check out this new Facebook group, Co Charger. It is a new, brilliant means to help more people and companies move to electric vehicles, sooner! Co Charger is a platform that lets you share your charging point with your local community.
5. EV Charge: Energy Saving Trust
Our new Charging Electric Vehicles Best Practice Guide provides information and advice on where and how to charge your electric vehicle (EV) to get the most driving range out of your battery and reduce costs. Learn about different chargers, public and at home, and other avenues of support and funding that can make charging and owning an electric vehicle easier.
Blog Version Extra:
6. EV News: Lease Plan
How will Smart Charging regulations affect EV drivers? New UK laws will require chargepoints to respond to periods of high demand by slowing or delaying charging sessions, but drivers will always be in control.
Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
