It's EV Tuesday!

Good Morning EV Gang! Can you believe in 6 days time it will be Christmas and 2023 is almost over.

Well now is the time to kick back with a cup of tea, maybe something stronger if you have finished for Christmas already, and take a look at what we have to offer this week.

2. EV NEWS: ELECTREK

Ford to help F-150 Lightning owners save on electricity costs with new V2H partnership. Ford aims to help F-150 Lightning owners save on monthly electricity costs with a new vehicle-to-home (V2H) partnership. The “first-of-its-kind collaboration” will use the Lightning’s powerful battery with smart thermostat tech to unlock new savings.

3. EV TIP: RUNNING OUT OF CHARGE

If you do run out of juice, don’t panic: breakdown services have vans with on-board chargers, allowing you to gain enough juice to make it to a proper charging point. Make sure you are a member of the AA, RAC or Green Flag. Having said that, there’s a good chance you’ll never need them, if you follow the above advice, as very few EV owners run out of juice in the real world – it seems to happen to tabloid journalists more often than not.

BYD Seal U: The BYD Seal is the third model BYD has launched in the UK in quick succession, so the Chinese car maker clearly has big dreams of doing well here – which is rather appropriate, what with BYD standing for Build Your Dreams. As a sleek-looking electric car with its sights set on toppling the impressive Tesla Model 3, the Seal sits at the top of the BYD range, above the BYD Atto 3 and the BYD Dolphin.
