It's EV Tuesday!

Hello EV people, it is your favourite time of the week! EV Tuesday is here for your enjoyment.

We have been working away in the office to see what delights we can bring to you this week, and boy do we have a good selection.

2. EV NEWS: DAILY EXPRESS

British Gas offers major financial support with free charging for UK electric car owners. British Gas is offering free electric car charging. British Gas has promised to dish out thousands of miles of free electric car charging for every customer as part of a new EV push. The country’s largest energy supplier has revealed those using their Hive chargers will get access to 8,000 miles completely free.

3. EV TIP: PRE-CONDITION YOUR CABIN

One of the lesser-known features of electric cars, pre-conditioning allows you to pre-heat or pre-cool the car’s cabin before you start your journey. In the winter, it will heat the cabin, as well as demist and defrost windows. Ideally, you should pre-condition while your EV is plugged in at home, so that the battery is not used to warm up the car, which reduces your overall mileage.

Peugeot E-308 SW Estate: Peugeot has entered the electric estate car market with the E-308 SW, and made a very good fist of it. The Peugeot 308 was one of the first family hatchbacks to commit to an all-electric version, back in 2021. But the model’s estate variant has remained petrol only. That changes now, with the arrival of the new E-308 SW, a fresh entry into the comparatively rarified market of all-electric estates.
