Well here we are, Christmas Eve Eve! This week's edition of EV Tuesdays is a bit more Christmas related. So sit back, enjoy a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine as you look through EV Tuesday 206!

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: TESLA APP
The Tesla app puts owners in direct communication with their vehicles and Powerwalls anytime, anywhere. With this app, you can: Check charging progress in real time and start or stop charging, Heat or cool your car before driving – even if it's in a garage, Lock or unlock from afar, Locate your vehicle with directions or track its movement.
2. EV NEWS: FINANCIAL TIMES
UK will complete review of EV sales targets ‘as quickly as we can’ says minister. Government will be ‘responsive’ to manufacturers as they shift away from petrol engines. The UK will kick off a review of its EV sales targets next year instead of 2027 as the government pledged to be “responsive” to the car industry in the wake of changes to climate targets in Europe.
3. EV TIP: TIME YOUR RIDE
During busy periods it pays to make an early start or drive late at night when the roads – and charging points – are likely to be quieter. Arriving at the family home on Christmas Day itself is a better choice with a lot fewer journeys happening on the 25th – you’d agree, nothing beats showing up as the turkey comes out of the oven. From Boxing Day, traffic tends to be at lower levels until the New Year.

6. EV VIDEO: TESLA OWNERS LIGHT SHOW
Just a short clip from the Tesla Owners UK Christmas Lightshow at Silverstone Circuit on 12th December 2025. There were around 250 Teslas that took part in this light show.
