1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: POD POINT

Pod Point is one of UK's leading providers of electric vehicle charging. Since forming in 2009, we have manufactured and sold over 175,000 charging pointsacross the UK. We've also developed an extensive public network connecting EV drivers with 7,300+ charging bays at locations including Tesco, Lidl and Center Parcs.

2. EV NEWS: BBC NEWS

The future is electric for the cars on our roads, but is the UK ready for such a major change? At the risk of infuriating all you petrolheads out there, let's just get it out there - electric cars are the future.
They are clean, quiet, fun to drive and help us tackle the biggest challenge of our era, climate change. But there are some big bumps along the road to the UK's electric destiny.

3. EV TIP: PERFORM REGULAR MAINTENANCE

Electric cars generally require a lot less work than petrol-powered vehicles, but some basic care is still necessary. Keep the tyres inflated, regularly change the air filter and check fluid levels.

4. EV BLOG: US! EV CABLES: WHAT IS THE BEST EV CABLE LENGTH?

Welcome to our informative guide on electric vehicle (EV) charger types! As the world transitions to EVs, understanding the different types of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and cables is essential. EV chargers can be categorised as rapid, ultra-rapid, fast, or slow, and use either direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC), with various socket types. In this blog, we'll discuss the differences and help you understand which charging types should be used and when.

5. EV REVIEW: ELECTRIFYING

Mercedes EQE Saloon

The Mercedes EQS might have all the tech, but the EQE could be the most popular and refined EQ car on the road right now. Essentially the electric equivalent of an E-class, the EQE keeps roughly the same body-size as its ICE-powered counterpart but gets the same styling as the larger EQS. Still underneath those divisive looks – designed to make the electric Mercedes as slippery as possible – there’s a solid interior and a capable chassis that pulls ahead of the more expensive EQS.

6. EV VIDEO: CAR WOW

I spent $113m in 20 minutes at the WORLD’S MOST INSANE car collection! Mat’s visited the Petersen Car Museum in LA, and he’s going to build his dream car garage! There is a crazy amount of cars at this museum, with the total value of all cars on show going north of one BILLION dollars! But with so many cars on show, which will he choose to add to his garage?

Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
