It's EV Tuesday!

How are we all on this beautiful Spring day? The sun is finally shining and the flowers are starting to bloom, this only means one thing.....Summer is on its way!
No need to defrost the car or pre-heat the cabin, unless you really want to! As always, we have been super busy this week in the warehouse, producing cables and plugs as well as researching our links, tips and tools for you to enjoy. We have also added in one of our products this week.

After years of speculation, Tesla could finally be making its India debut. The American electric vehicle (EV) giant has begun hiring for a dozen jobs in Delhi and Mumbai. It is also reportedly hunting for showrooms in both cities. Asia's third largest economy offers an interesting growth opportunity for Tesla's futuristic cars as its global EV sales plummet and competition from Chinese manufacturers gets more intense.
3. EV TIP: EV HANDLING
Electric motors produce their peak pulling power straight away, so there’s no need to rev the motor for swift acceleration, unlike in a conventional car. Car manufacturers have more flexibility when it comes to packaging electric drivetrains. Mounting battery-packs close to the floor to lower the centre of gravity means EVs often handle well, too.

Renault 5 e-Tech
This small, stylish hatchback is the new Renault 5; Renault’s revival of its old iconic model for the electric age. It’s designed to take on the Mini Cooper Electric and Fiat 500e, or if retro looks aren’t your cup of tea, the Peugeot E-208 and Vauxhall Corsa Electric. Renault’s designers seem to have found the golden ratio of retro to modern touches with the 5. It’s a great nod to the brand's heritage whilst making the most of its current tech. Think of a sympathetic home restoration: a quaint little country house, but with a flat-screen TV and central heating.
