1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: FASTNED
Fastned is building a European network of fast charging stations at which electric vehicles can fast charge with energy from wind & sun.
2. EV NEWS: UK MOTOR1
VW's entire ID EV range gets discounts in the UK. On top of last year's lowered prices. This February, Volkswagen is making its electric vehicle range in the United Kingdom more appealing with a £1,000 discount for new orders placed between 4 February and 3 March. This offer applies to models including the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7, ID.7 Tourer, and the ID. Buzz, regardless of whether customers opt for cash payments or financing through Volkswagen Financial Services.
3. EV TIP: WINTER TIP
A useful tip from one of our EV Tuesday readers. Perfect for these cold Winter months. Use -10 °C screen wash in winter because the engine won't get hot and melt the screen wash reservoir.

6. EV PLUG & CHARGE: ELECTREK
No apps, no swipes – every EV will get Supercharger-like charging in 2025. Universal Plug & Charge – the ability for any EV to just plug in and start charging without having to open an app, swipe a card or press any buttons first – will be ready in 2025 and promises to make EV charging much easier, thanks to an effort between the Society of Automotive Engineers, the auto industry, and the Biden Admin’s Joint Office of Energy & Transportation.
