Good morning EV Tuesday readers.
What a variety of weather we have had this week.....sun, wind, rain and hail all in one day!
Hopefully we are now the other side of it and it is good weather moving forward and time to take your EV out on the road to enjoy.
For the next 7 weeks, one part of our newsletter will be about an EV Adventure across Tasmania. Stay tuned to see how it goes.

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: OHME

2. EV NEWS: CAR WOW
The government’s electric car grant scheme has expanded to include additional Ford models, with two SUVs now eligible for discounts of up to £1,500. Making the switch to an electric car is a big decision, but the UK government is aiming to make it easier with its EV grant. The £1.3bn scheme offers up to £3,750 off a qualifying new electric car, with more than 50 models now eligible.
3. EV TIP: EV TARIFF
You don’t need a wallbox charger to be in an EV tariff. You can charge cheaply overnight using a granny charger @6p/kw without buying any expensive equipment. Just make sure you have an EV rated plug socket installed otherwise you may burn your plug and socket!
4. EV ADVENTURE: EV ADVENTURE TRIP
We will be covering this over the next 7 weeks EV Road Trip Around Tasmania Day 1 - Taking My EV On The Ferry. Over the next 7 days, I'll be driving my fully electric 2021 Kia Niro right around Tasmania. But first, I need to get it there, by crossing Bass Straight on the Spirit Of Tasmania.

Nissan Juke. Nissan has revealed its new third-generation Juke, and the drastic changes manage to make the current Juke look rather pedestrian. The new Nissan Juke is inspired by origami, its eye-catching body creases appearing to replicate screwed up balls of paper. We can imagine Nissan’s designers looking at a wastepaper bin full of discarded ideas and thinking ‘wait a minute…’
