1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: CO CHARGER
The Co Charger app looks after the ‘matchmaking’ between ‘Hosts’ (those with chargers) and ‘Chargees’ (those wanting to charge). It handles communication, booking and payments, making the process quick, simple, and hassle-free.
2. EV NEWS: ELECTREK
Nissan unleashes the ‘Hyper Punk’ – its fourth EV concept this month. Another day, another EV concept rendering from Nissan. This evening, the Japanese automaker shared images of the Hyper Punk – its fourth all-electric concept in a new “Hyper” series of design exercises set to make physical debuts next week. Does this one look punk to you?
3. EV TIP: SCHEDULE CHARGING SESSIONS IN COLD WEATHER
If you know when you plan to drive, you can schedule the charging session to make sure you heat the car and warm the battery up before you set off. This can also help regenerative braking function better.
4. EV CABLE CARE: FLEET NEWS
We featured in Fleet News, pages 14-15, this week with an article about maintaining a strong connection. The AC charging cable forms a key, but unsung, role in operating electric vehicles. Looking after them properly can have a cost and efficiency benefits. Have a read of the article right here.

2025 Mercedes-AMG GLC63 S E Performance. The plug-in GLC63 is a speedy performance SUV that’s quicker than the time it takes to say its name. The hottest GLC63 makes use of M-B’s M139L engine, the same unit found in AMG C63, unique in that it’s a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an electronically assisted turbocharger. On its own, the four-banger can squeeze out an impressive 469 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque.
