Hello EV people, it is your favourite time of the week! EV Tuesday is here for your enjoyment.

We have been working away in the office to see what delights we can bring to you this week, and boy do we have a good selection.

As always, please give us feedback on Twitter. Which item is your favourite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions?  Just send a tweet to @ev_cables and put #EVTuesdays at the end so we can find it.

Have a great week everyone and happy reading!

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: NEED TO CHARGE

Sharing an EV charger at work? Or maybe you're grabbing a bite to eat at a restaurant while you top up but want to let others contact you if they really need to use the charger. This is the perfect app for the Need to Charge!

2. EV NEWS: ELECTREK

Tesla says it is adding radar in its cars next month amid self-driving suite concerns. Tesla told the FCC that it plans to market a new radar starting next month. The move raises even more concerns about potentially needed updates to its hardware suite to achieve the promised self-driving capability.

3. EV TIP: SCHEDULE CHARGING SESSIONS IN THE COLD WEATHER

If you know when you plan to drive, you can schedule the charging session to make sure you heat the car and warm the battery up before you set off. This can also help regenerative braking function better.

Tip thanks to Pedro Monsalve, Presales Engineer at Wallbox

4. EV COMMUNITY: ELECTRIC CAR COMMUNITY

ElectricCarCommunity.com provides access to the latest electric Vehicle news stories. Our editorial team searches through hundreds of news items each week and posts the best articles from trusted EV news sources across the Internet. ECC also provides content resources for EV drivers, including vehicle profiles, model data, and charging information.

5. EV REVIEW: ELECTRIFYING

Jaguar I-Pace. A brilliant car which drives superbly, is well built and stylish. The fact it happens to be powered by electricity is a bonus.

Even dismissing the fact that it’s powered by electricity for a moment, the I-Pace is a stunning car. As it was built from the ground up as an EV, the designers were freed of the need to house a conventional engine and created a car which looks like something from a sci-fi movie.

It’s half-way between an SUV and a big hatchback, but still looks sporty too.

6. EV QUIZ: SPORCLE

A little bit of fun for the electric vehicle fast car lovers. Can you name the Formula E-Circuits of 2022?

Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
