Good morning readers, Well here we are, into September already, before you know it we will be mentioning the 'C' word!

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: NEED TO CHARGE
Sign up once to NeedToCharge, and plug in at a charger as normal. If a fellow EV driver needs to charge, they can enter your Number Plate at NeedToCharge.com. You’ll receive a notification, and you can respond to let them know when the charger will be free.
2. EV NEWS: PLYMOUTH HERALD
New electric vehicle charging points installed in Plymouth. The EV charging points are in Chaddlewood and Coypool. The council says they are to provide access for those unable to charge at home and not living near the centre. The Coypool charger is situated at the park and ride, which the council hopes will benefit those riding e-bikes for their journey.
3. EV TIP: CHARGING POINTS
Don’t use EV charging points as a parking spot – An EV charging point is for charging, not parking – so don’t treat it as a personal all-day parking spot. Many of them are positioned at premium locations at public destinations, but if you don’t plan to charge your vehicle make sure you leave the spots open for those who do.
4. EV TRIALS: KERBO CHARGE
Founded in 2021 by a shared frustration of how difficult it is to charge your car at home, Michael, Ben W, Shannon and Ben G, are on a mission to make it easy for everyone in the UK to charge their EV - not just those with a driveway. Thanks to Myke, one of our regular readers, you can now take part in one of the trials. Click on the link and enter your details to register your interest.
5. EV REVIEW: AUTO CAR
Alfa Romeo 4E
Alfa Romeo 4E. 2028 Alfa Romeo 4E primed as electric 4C successor. Successor to 4C to adopt zero-emission powertrain with huge power and more than 500 miles of range. Alfa Romeo is firming up plans for a new electric roadster as part of a wide-ranging electrification strategy to expand and revamp its line-up. Following the launch of the 33 Stradale supercar, which offers Alfa’s first-ever electric powertrain, the Italian firm will introduce an electric small SUV in 2024, then electric replacements for the Giulia saloon and Stelvio SUV, and lastly a larger saloon and SUV, aimed at the Chinese and American markets.
