1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: POD POINT

Pod Point is one of UK's leading providers of electric vehicle charging. Since forming in 2009, we have manufactured and sold over 175,000 charging points** across the UK. We've also developed an extensive public network connecting EV drivers with 7,300+ charging bays** at locations including Tesco, Lidl and Center Parcs.

2. EV NEWS: EV POWERED

UK climate expert to drive 70-year-old electric Land Rover around the world. Tesla-powered Series 1 aims to be first electric classic car to complete 18,000-mile circumnavigation. Dr Ed Barsley is bidding to be the first person to circumnavigate the globe in an electric classic car at the wheel of his father’s 1955 Series 1, nicknamed Evie.

3. EV TIP: COLLECT & MONITOR DRIVING DATA

All consumer and fleet electric vehicles have their own unique driving patterns. To truly maximize range and energy efficiency, the most powerful tool at your disposal is knowledge of your driving and charging patterns. Electric vehicle telematics allows owners to better understand how much range they need, how to improve it, and when improvements will be necessary.

4. EV PODCAST: INSIDE EVS

How Long Do EV Batteries ACTUALLY Last? How long do electric vehicle batteries really last in the real world? This week on The Plugged-In Podcast, Mack and Tim break down a massive new study analyzing over 500,000 EV battery health tests—and the data reveals a clear picture of long-term degradation, plus how specific EVs like the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Ford Mustang Mach-E, and Tesla Model Y hold up after around 100,000 miles.

5. EV REVIEW: ELECTROHEADS

Renault Kangoo Van

Renault’s Kangoo van has had a reasonable amount of success since its 2012 launch, but was always held back by a comparatively tiny battery which meant it was only really suitable for low mileage drivers who had very predictable driving patterns.
