Good morning EV Tuesday readers.
We are back around to Tuesday, the start of the EV week!
This week we have a great review of the new Mercedes being released in 2027 and also a look at the new 2CV that is getting ready to be launched. It was being unveiled at Paris Motor Show this month. Do let us know if you went to Paris to visit the Motor Show.....we would love to know all about it.
As usual, we have a great tip for you, a bit of news and an App to try out. We also have the Electric Car Awards by What Car?
So grab a seat and have a read through this week's EV Tuesday newsletter.
Don't forget to head over to our social media handles like Twitter & Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit), sign up and share our pages, we do like to get the word out there. You can always sign up to our blog here and receive an extra item :)

2. EV NEWS: MOTOR 1
The new Citroën 2CV is packed with clever retro touches and could become one of Europe's cheapest EVs when it arrives in 2028. Fiat set the template with the 500, and Renault followed with the latest Twingo. Now, Citroën wants in on the retro city-car revival with a modern take on one of France’s most recognizable cars: the 2CV. Known affectionately as the "Duck," or "La Deuche" in France, the 2CV is making a comeback at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. And judging by the concept, Citroën isn't simply trying to copy the original.

3. EV TIP: KNOW YOUR VEHICLES SETTINGS
EVs have different modes that affect performance and power usage. For example, the Tesla Model S can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds in Ludicrous Mode, but that means giving up range. Take the time to bone up on all of your car's capabilities so you can be smart about using your battery.
4. EV PODCAST: INSIDE EV'S PLUGGED IN
Has Jaguar Gone Too Far? + Driving Kia’s Awesome Cheap EV. Is Jaguar’s radical rebrand genius? Or madness? On this week’s episode of The Plugged-In Podcast, we react to the reveal of Jaguar’s controversial Type 01 grand tourer. The design is impossible to ignore, but can this car and all-electric pivot save Jaguar?
Plus, is Kia about to dominate the affordable EV segment? Tim reports back from his first drive in the brand-new Kia EV3. With its impressive range, aggressive pricing, and appealing design, is it better than the Chevy Bolt and Nissan Leaf? Tim thinks so.

5. EV REVIEW: INSIDE EV'S
Mercedes GLC 400
2027 Mercedes GLC 400 Electric Review: The Best Mercedes EV Ever, And It’s Not Close. The GLC is lovely to drive and incredibly sophisticated. But it's not cheap. This is a year of EV renewal for Mercedes. Like crosstown rival BMW, the company is starting to launch its third generation of electric vehicles. The first ones were low-volume science experiments. The EQ models missed the mark on design and failed to move the needle on EV tech. Now the company is launching true software-defined, ultra-efficient, 800-volt EVs.
