Good morning EV Tuesday readers.
It's nearly Easter!
Here we are, at the end of March already......1/4 of the way through 2026, time just flies by when you are having fun!
The clocks have gone forward, the evenings are getting longer and lighter, giving us more time to head outside and admire all our EV goodness! It makes it easier to keep it nice and shiny clean when you can head out to give it a wash after work. No more surface mud and dirt from all the rain (fingers crossed for a dry April!)
Anyway, as always we have an abundance of EV related information, tips and links for you to sit back and enjoy this week.

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: WHEN TO PLUG IN
National Grid’s WhenToPlugIn app tells you the cleanest times of day to use electricity, so you can make smarter energy choices at home and help to fight climate change. The app shows you the live carbon intensity forecast in Great Britain, letting you know when the electricity in your home will be cleanest over the next 48 hours to help you plan your electricity usage.
2. EV NEWS: CAR WOW
Pay-per-mile road tax: what it is and what it means for you. In her November Autumn Budget, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves announced that electric and plug-in hybrid drivers will soon pay road tax based on the miles they drive, as the government looks to recover lost fuel duty revenue.
3. EV TIP: CHARGE CARDS
Get some charge cards (like Electroverse) so you can get some cheaper charging and so you have an alternative to your debit or credit card. Equally try and charge at some chargers near your house just incase you ever need to charge away from home unexpectedly.
