Apologies for the radio silence! Some of the team have been away on a well deserved break. And as you would have seen, last week EV Tuesdays was highjacked by the Wottz Fleet team introducing the EV Cable platform for Fleets. We hope you enjoyed the read!

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: CO CHARGER
The Co Charger app looks after the ‘matchmaking’ between ‘Hosts’ (those with chargers) and ‘Chargees’ (those wanting to charge). It handles communication, booking and payments, making the process quick, simple, and hassle-free.
2. EV NEWS: FLEET POINT
Is the new EV Grant about to descend into chaos? The recent, and widely welcomed, government announcement of a new electric vehicle (EV) grant is starting to cause concern and could lead to chaos before it is even implemented. Stuart Masson, Editorial Director of The Car Expert, commented: “The UK government’s new EV grant – billed as a way to support uptake and affordability – is fast becoming a textbook example of how not to run industrial policy.

I know it's a slightly older post, but, we discovered this and thought it would be interesting to share with you. The past decade has been a watershed moment for electric vehicles (EVs), passing from an odd novelty you might glimpse in 2010 to an ICE-free future in 2035. The actual history of EVs, is in fact far older than you might think. In this article we will look at the rise of the earliest electric cars, why petrol overtook them and what the future might hold.

Fully modern in every respect, the Ioniq 9 takes design cues from the fantastical Hyundai Seven concept and incorporates them into a new mid-size EV crossover aimed at the family market.
