1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: CITA EV

The CITA EV driver's app provides seamless access to a wide network of electric vehicle charge points, including both AC and DC stations with power ratings up to 360kW. The app is designed to enhance your charging experience with a variety of convenient features.

First, register your account and add your credit card details to enable quick and secure payment transactions. Input your car details into the app to receive tailored recommendations for charge points that are most suitable for your specific EV model, ensuring efficient and effective charging sessions. This app is compatible in the UK.

2. EV NEWS: BBC NEWS

First on-street EV charger installed in new scheme. The first on-street electric vehicle (EV) charger has been installed as part of a project believed to be the largest of its kind in the UK, according to the government. Chargepoint operator char.gy said it had started fitting more than 6,000 kerbside chargers for Brighton & Hove City Council (BHCC) after securing a £130m contract.

3. EV TIP: PLAN YOUR EV CHARGING STRATEGY

Having a solid charging plan ensures you never run low on battery when you need it most. If you have a driveway or garage, home charging is the most convenient and cost-effective option, especially with a Level 2 charger that can fully charge your EV overnight. For those who spend long hours at the office, workplace charging can be a great way to top up during the day. If neither home nor work charging is an option, you’ll need to rely on public charging stations, which means identifying the most reliable networks near your home, work, and frequent routes.

4. EV CUSTOMER REVIEW: US! EV CABLES

5. EV REVIEW: CAR MAGAZINE

MG Cyberster

MG Cyberster review: an electric sporty convertible you can actually buy. MG has sold over 90,000 EVs since its cars first went on sale in 2019, making it one of the biggest sellers of EVs in the UK, just behind Tesla, VW and BMW. Most of those sales have been generated by sensible SUVs like the MG S5 EV and hatchbacks like the MG 4 – and soon those numbers will be bolstered by the more premium IM5 and IM6 models. However, the Cyberster roadster remains the real jewel in MG’s crown.

6. EV BLOG: EV CABLES

As the number of electric vehicles (EVs) on UK roads continues to grow, so too does the unfortunate rise in opportunistic crime—specifically, theft of AC EV charging cables. Whether you're charging your EV on the driveway or at a public charger, it's worth knowing how and why these thefts happen, and more importantly, what you can do about it.
