EV Tuesdays: Week 26
10th May 2022
It's that time of the week again, EV Tuesdays is here! So now the sun is finally making an appearance why not add a little time to sit down and read a few hints, tips and some useful information about anything EV related.
This week we have another selection of 5 tools for you to enjoy. Don't forget we will also be adding these to our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter & Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit). If you would like an extra item click here and visit our blog.
Leave us some feedback and let us know your thoughts on what we have included or what you would like to see.
Happy reading :)
1. EV Accessibility: Which EV
Although public charging is improving, it’s still far from ideal, as we discussed in our Guide to Public Charging. But it’s even worse if you have a disability that causes mobility issues, and particularly if you’re wheelchair user. We met Roger Warner, who has been in a wheelchair since his teens, at the recently opened Osprey charging hub in Banbury, part of its 150-strong UK rollout.
2. EV Video: Electroheads
A much-anticipated review that we've been asked to do many times. Tish from @Auto Social UK jumped into the MG ZS EV and gives us an honest in-depth look into the cheap family EV. Are its gripes something you could live with or are they too big of a deal to put you off? If you ask us - its bang for buck in the current market of EVs!
3. EV Tip: Charging
Schedule your charging taking advantage of cheap rate tariff. It's more economical to charge your EV when the rates are lower!
4. EV Media: Tesla Owners
The Tesla Model Y was the #1 best seller in the UK in March 2022 and guess what was #2? The Tesla Model 3! This means in 2022 so far 15,547 new Tesla vehicles have been delivered (to customers) in the UK.
5. EV Forum: MG EV Community
MG EV Community is a community forum talking about everything MG EV related. There are podcasts, chats, forums and much much more.
Blog Version Extra:
6. EV Show: London EV Show
The London EV Show is the industry's can't-miss event that has already created a huge buzz in the global EV industry. With an aim to provide a seamless networking & business matchmaking platform to EV enthusiasts, London EV Show will be conducted as a ‘Hybrid Event’, amalgamating the features of both in-person and virtual events.
Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
