BMW X5 xDrive 40e EV CABLE

Your BMW X5 xDrive 40e supports a maximum of 3.6kW charging (Single Phase/16A) and uses a Type 2 Connector. 

BMW X5 xDrive 40e is an impressive plug-in hybrid with an all-electric range of up to 19 miles. It offers driving pleasure on any terrain thanks to the amazing traction of the all-wheel drive and the TwinPower Turbo power unit. It goes from 0-62mph in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 130mph.

Charging is done using an EV Cables Type 2 connector with a maximum power of 3.6kW. A fully depleted battery will charge in around 4 hours, but you will need a phase 3 grid connection to achieve this.

The front of the BMW X5 xDrive 40e has a slightly hexagonal kidney finished, 20” M light alloy wheel 742 M double spoke in Orbit Grey matt and the optional laser light with blue X elements complete the exciting design. The rear has a split tailgate which can be opened and closed in 2 parts, is fully electric and operated at the touch of a button.

Sat in the interior of the BMW X5 xDrive 40e you will see the clear design with glass elements on the gear selector, BMW controller, volume control and the start/stop button. There are 2 rows of seats to carry 5 passengers, if you need more room, you can add a 3^rd row of 2 seats changing it into a 7-seater. Lay everything flat and you have a large boot area for your golf clubs, shopping, and other cargo. The panoramic roof makes the car appear more spacious.

The BMW X5 xDrive 40e comes with Driving Assistant Professional which includes steering and lane control, lane change and emergency stop assistant. The navigation system helps with planning your journey and the Parking Space Assistant helps find the nearest parking space.

Our EV charging cables are backward compatible. They will automatically switch between 32 and 16 amps. So you can purchase more amps and phases for use on others cars / future-proofing and it’ll still work on your current car. Any cable lower than your cars maximum supported charging, will limit the change rate to the cable capacity.
