EV Tuesday Week 83

EV Tuesday Week 83

It's EV Tuesday!

13th June 2023
It's Tuesday already....Happy Tuesday EV Owners!
A new week is upon us and we have a cracking line up for you this week. Each week we will bring to you 5 different tools, tutorials, podcasts, pretty much anything we can find to help you with your electric car.
Feel free to let us know if there is anything in particular you want to know about....we will get our little fingers tapping on the keyboard and searching the internet for you and see what we come up with.
Until then, grab a drink, click on the links below and enjoy this weeks 5 items.
We will be posting this to our social media channels including FacebookTwitter & Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit). If you have access to our blog, you will get an extra item :)
Leave us some feedback and let us know your thoughts on what we have included or what you would like to see.
Until next time, have a great week!
Feedback, Requests, Questions?
As always, please give us feedback on Twitter. Which item is your favourite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions?  Just send a tweet to @ev_cables and put #EVTuesdays at the end so we can find it.
Have a great week everyone and happy reading!

Find your favorite hotels that have Electric Car Charging! EV Hotels is a worldwide app to find and reserve hotels with EV (Electric Vehicle) charging facilities. The #1 road trip planning tool for EV drivers.

Pod Point’s home chargers have been revealed as the best for EV owners in a What Car? study. They offer the best combination of value for money and customer satisfaction, according to feedback from 4,130 electric vehicle owners who have chargers at home, the car buying platform said today.

If installing a home charging point simply isn’t an option for you, don’t despair. There are alternatives. For instance, you might find it helpful to look into peer-to-peer charging networks such as Zap-Home.

The Zap-Home network shows the home charge points of Zap-Map users who have decided to share them with other EV drivers. Charge point details are visible only to registered Zap-Map users, and owners can offer their home charge point under their own conditions.

Some owners choose to offer charging for free, with others charging a small fee. You may well be pleasantly surprised to see how many Zap-Home points are in your area.

It’s time for another carwow EV range test! We’ve got our hands on six of the latest all-electric SUVs to hit the market, and we’re about to see just how accurate the manufacturer’s claimed ranges are! So let’s take a closer look at the cars we have joining us.

Volvo EX30

As a small SUV that does big Volvo things, the new fully electric Volvo EX30 is designed to be as safe as you'd expect from us. It is designed to have the smallest CO2 footprint of any Volvo car to date, and to make people's lives safer, more convenient and more enjoyable through cutting-edge technology and Scandinavian design.

Our main goal is to accelerate the adoption of sustainable transport by maintaining an easily accessible database with all data regarding electric vehicles. Electric vehicles, in combination with autonomous driving, will be one of the most relevant revolutions in the automotive industry. Autonomous electric vehicles will one day be the norm.

Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
