EV Tuesdays: Week 46
27th September 2022

It's Tuesday 27th September. Happy Tuesday EV Owners!

A new week is upon us already and we have a cracking line up for you this week.

Each week we will bring to you 5 different tools, tutorials, podcasts, pretty much anything we can find to help you with your electric car.

Feel free to let us know if there is anything in particular you want to know about....we will get our little fingers tapping at the internet for you and see what we come up with.

We'll also be posting these to our blog hereTwitter, Facebook, Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit) so get involved and give us any ideas in the comments

Until then, grab a drink, click on the links below and enjoy this weeks 5 items.

1. EV App of the Week: Pod Point

Pod Point is one of UK's leading providers of electric vehicle charging. Since forming in 2009, we have manufactured and sold over 175,000 charging points** across the UK.

We've also developed an extensive public network connecting EV drivers with 7,300+ charging bays** at locations including Tesco, Lidl and Center Parcs.

2. EV Charge: EV Charge Online

A state-of-the-art electric vehicle charging back office management system for both chargepoint operators and EV drivers. With currently over 4,000 charging points operating via the EVCharge.

Online network to date, this acclaimed solution is ideal for those who are offering a seamless charging experience for EV drivers. EVCharge.Online enables the driver to simply pay-to-charge via their mobile phone/smart device with no subscription or connection fees.

3. EV Tip: Collect & Monitor Driving Data

All consumer and fleet electric vehicles have their own unique driving patterns. To truly maximize range and energy efficiency, the most powerful tool at your disposal is knowledge of your driving and charging patterns. Electric vehicle telematics allows owners to better understand how much range they need, how to improve it, and when improvements will be necessary.

4. EV News: Automotive News Group

British auto dealer Pendragon is in advanced discussions with BYD to be its UK launch partner as China’s biggest electric-vehicle maker enters the market later this year. The move is part of Pendragon’s broader efforts to boost its new car franchise business, the London-based company said in a statement Wednesday, after posting 1.6 percent first-half revenue growth.

5. EV Review: electrifying.com

2023 Range Rover Sport PHEV. There are a lot of big numbers involved in the new Range Rover Sport PHEV, from the price to the electric-only range. But it’s a small number on the spec sheet which will attract the most attention: the tax rate for company car drivers.
