EV Tuesday Week 113

EV Tuesday Week 113

It's EV Tuesday!

23rd January 2024
Good Morning EV followers. It is that time of the week again when we supply you with a variety of tools and tips for you to feast your eyes on.

As usual, we have been working away behind the scenes to see what goodies we can find for you this week, and there are some good ones. We have a community you can join, an event you can attend as well as an app to use.

So, take a seat, pop your feet up and have a flick through to see what you can find.

We will be posting this to our social media channels including Facebook, Twitter & Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit). If you have access to our blog, you will get an extra item :)

Right, ready.....steady.........GO!!

Feedback, Requests, Questions?
As always, please give us feedback on Twitter. Which item is your favourite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions?  Just send a tweet to @ev_cables and put #EVTuesdays at the end so we can find it.

Have a great week everyone and happy reading!

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: THE AA

Like other parking apps, the AA app shows you available parking spaces near your destination, as well as electric charging point availability. But this app has way more functionality than just parking. You can get breakdown support, plan routes, and even find a great place to have lunch on a long journey.

2. EV NEWS: AUTOCAR

Seat plots urban EV as it commits to keep making cars. Brand's future lies in mobility solutions, but it will still be making cars at the end of the decade. Seat hasn't launched its final car, Autocar understands, with the Spanish brand considering an entry-level electric city car twinned with the upcoming Volkswagen ID 1.

3. EV TIP: EXPLORE THE RANGE OF CHARGING OPTIONS

Explore the whole range of available charging options. When you are thinking about charging your electric vehicle, think about the different charging options. You can trickle charge, AC charge, DC charge, use chargers at home or in service stations. Some supermarkets have chargers as well as work places. Explore all the options to see which works best for you.

4. EV COMMUNITY: EVA ENGLAND

The Electric Vehicle Association (EVA) England is a member association established in June 2020 to offer a voice to current and prospective electric vehicle drivers and accelerate the transition to an electric England. Members can make their voices heard in decisions through consultations, surveys and the AGM. EVA England uses these to identify key issues and barriers relating to EV adoption, and then take action to address them with the Government, local authorities, and industry organisations.

5. EV REVIEW: EDMUNDS

Kia EV9
The Kia EV9 delivers a luxuriously quiet drive and high-quality features that elevate every commute or jaunt alike. It's an appealing choice for families ready to transition into the electric realm, without compromising on much of anything.
