Yes. A Level 1 charger plugs into any standard 120V home outlet — the same type you use for lamps and phone chargers. It charges at about 1.4kW, adding roughly 4–5 miles of range per hour. That's enough for overnight chargingand is often all a plug-in hybrid needs. For faster charging, a Level 2 charger uses a 240V dryer outlet (the larger outlet typically found in your garage or laundry room) and is about 5× faster.
