Tesla Model 3 Charging Cables
Tesla Model 3 EV CABLE
Your Tesla Model 3 supports a maximum of 11kW charging (Three Phase/16A) and uses a Type 2 Connector.
Choose from the cables listed below.
Tesla Model 3 can carry up to 5 passengers and their cargo in comfort and style. It is a fully electric vehicle and can accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds. The vehicle has a top speed of 162mph and an average range of 300 miles on a full charge.
Charging is done using a Type 2 connector with a maximum power of 16.5kW. A fully depleted battery will charge in around 6.5 hours, but you will need a phase 3 grid connection to achieve this. You can use a supercharge and this will take approximately 15 minutes for 175 miles.
Safety is the most important part of the Tesla Model 3 design. It has been built from a combination of aluminium and steel for maximum strength in all areas. The vehicle has gone through a roof-crush test, on its glass roof, resisting 4 times its own mass.
It comes with the option of either dual motor or all wheel drive. The 20” Überturbine Wheels and Performance Brakes is perfect for all weather conditions. The carbon fibre spoiler allows the Model 3 to accelerate from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds.
The Tesla Model 3 is unlike any other car you have seen before. You can use your smartphone as a key and access all the driver controls through the 15” touchscreen in the centre of the car.

Important Note About 11kW Cables: 11kW cables (3 Phase, 16A) are not usually ideal as a general charging cable in the UK. This is due to the fact that most EVSE (Charge points) in the UK are single-phase only. This would cause your 11kW cable to charge at 1 phase, 16A which is a 3.6kW charge rate, the slowest you can get! Most users would benefit more from a 7.2kW charging cable or the heavier 22kW charging cable.
Our EV charging cables are backward compatible. They will automatically switch between 32 and 16 amps. So you can purchase more amps and phases for use on others cars/future-proofing and it’ll still work on your current car. Any cable lower than your cars maximum supported charging, will limit the change rate to the cable capacity.
Don't forget, your charge rate is also limited by your charge point.
