Welcome EV Tuesday readers
As always we have been busy here in the office researching some EV goodness for you to feast your eyes on.
As the months are slowly rolling by, we are getting closer to the Winter season where you will need to remember to preheat your EV before you get in it, make sure the cabin is nice and warm! Make use of the heated steering wheel!
But before it does get too cold, grab a drink and sit in the garden of the last bit of Summer sun, and reads through this week's EV Tuesday newsletter.

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: ALLSTAR

2. EV NEWS: ENERGY LIVE NEWS
UK Power Networks has approved using lamp posts for electric vehicle charging, making it easier for many without off-street parking to access charging points. The change follows studies showing that 5kW chargepoints can be installed on older lamp posts. This decision comes after previous restrictions on installing chargers on older columns with different wiring.
3. EV TIP: CHECK YOUR TYRE PRESSURE
Check your tyre pressures once a month or so and keep them properly inflated to maximize your range and tyre life.
4. EV EVENT: OCTOPUS ENERGY
Join us on the Octobahn: an epic EV road trip to Berlin. On World Octopus Day, an elite squad will embark on a wild EV road trip through 5 different countries from London to Berlin to attend our WIRED Energy Tech Summit as social media ambassadors. If you're an EV driver who loves talking green tech online and you're up for a bit of a challenge, apply for a spot in the convoy.

Volvo XC60 SUV
Volvo's XC60 SUV competes in the compact luxury SUV segment but cleverly crafts its own identity using its trademark blend of understated Scandinavian styling and purposeful yet well-appointed interior design. Modern trademark Volvo tells, including the Thor's Hammer headlamps and the curvaceous Nordic design of the front seats, contribute to the distinctive appeal.

Watch us as we film our charging experiences as we potter around the UK and Europe in our EV! It's meant to show the experience in real time as we thought this could be helpful.
