EV Tuesdays: Week 28
24th May 2022

It's Tuesday already....Happy Tuesday EV Owners!

A new week is upon us and we have a cracking line up for you this week. Each week we will bring to you 5 different tools, tutorials, podcasts, pretty much anything we can find to help you with your electric car.

Feel free to let us know if there is anything in particular you want to know about....we will get our little fingers tapping on the keyboard and searching the internet for you and see what we come up with.

Don't forget we will be posting these on our social media channels including Facebook, Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit) & Twitter, head over and give us a follow, like or an upvote. If it is an extra item you would like, sign up to our blog right here.

Until then, grab a drink, click on the links below and enjoy this weeks 5 items.

1. EV Test: Top Gear

Electric Twin Test: Hyunda Ioniq 5 vs Jaguar i-Pace. On the face of it they have little in common, but dig a little deeper and interesting things start to emerge...take a look and see what happens!

2. EV Review: AutoCar

Kia Niro EV prototype 2022 review. All-new version of popular electric crossover features distinctive looks and improved driver appeal. This is the all-new version of one of the UK’s best-selling all-electric family cars, the Kia Niro.

3. EV Tip: Longer Journeys

Take advantage of any need to stop on longer journeys by enjoying nice coffee, farm shops, a walk. Enjoy travelling...

4. EV News: Electrifying

A few weeks back we said that there was talk of Tesla allowing non-Tesla drivers using their Supercharge network....it is now official. Tesla has confirmed that its acclaimed Supercharger network will open up in the UK from today.

The move means that UK drivers of non-Tesla models will have access to selected sites across the country for the first time. Four other countries: Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Austria are also opening up for non-Tesla use.

5. EV Video: Maddie Goes Electric Episode 1

We know these are old but they are good fun!
Each week we will bring to you another episode in the 'Maddie Goes Electric' range. Today is episode 1 a beginner’s guide to driving an electric vehicle.

Blog Version Extra:

6. EV Charge: Pod Point

The RAC has become the UK’s first major roadside assistance company to use an electric patrol vehicle. A Renault Zoe E-Tech van will now attend selected breakdowns.

Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
