2. EV PODCAST: EVERYTHING EV

The Best of 2022.
We look back over some of the best moments of the Everything EV Podcast from 2022. Featuring ChargeSafe, Formula E, brand new electric vehicles and much more!

3. EV TIP: MAX OUT YOUR REGENERATIVE BRAKING

Regenerative braking is an electric-only motoring feature that allows your car to recharge as it brakes. When you begin to slow down in your EV, the electric motor will capture energy to put back into the battery that can be used to power your car.

Most EVs will have different modes that allow you to decide what level of regenerative braking you’d like to use, including the highly efficient ‘one-pedal driving’ that allows you to come to a stop in your EV without even touching the brakes. This allows for the most amount of regenerative braking.

4. EV NEWS: WHICH EV

Tesla delivered a record 1.3m vehicles last year, which is 40% more than the previous year’s tally, the American EV giant said in its most recent quarterly financial statement.

The result fell short of the company’s own forecast, which led to a debate on social media with mixed views on the results.

5. EV REVIEW: CAR MAGAZINE

ORA Funky Cat

The ORA Funky Cat is an electric car that’s new to the UK and it aims to combine a characterful appearance, good quality, latest technology, and an affordable price.

The ORA Funky Cat name is presumably intended to reflect the car’s characterful styling – on the outside, and on the inside, where elements of colour from the exterior are featured – and the fit and finish, along with the design, feels high quality.

P.S AN ADDED EXTRA

A review left by Mark on Trustpilot today.

A number of years ago. The world didn’t know it, but a hero was born. Her life was spent searching for purpose and honing her hero super powers. What powers are these you may ask?

The power to deliver amazing customer experience and to balance 15 custard doughnuts on the end of her nose. Her life was dedicated to the pursuit of helping EV car owners find simply the MOST perfect cable for their needs. She scoured the product catalogue. Searching for that holy grail. The right cable for the right car for the right price. She pushed on when all other lesser beings had given up.

Powered by custard doughnuts, she was relentless in her quest. Hindered by neither time nor obstacle…she delivered. With single minded purpose she vanquished the competition. Her name will echo through the mists of time forevermore. Songs and sagas will be written after her. Children will be named after her and her story will be passed down through the ages until the end of time.

P.s. she needs no cape.
P.p.s. Some napkins would be useful to clear up the custard from the doughnuts. You can’t exactly take a hero’s uniform to the dry cleaners can you!

Who is our Cable Hero? All will be revealed in our blog next week (62)

Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
