Hello EV Tuesday readers.

A new week is upon us already and we have a cracking line up for you this week. Each week we will bring to you 5 different tools, tutorials, podcasts, pretty much anything we can find to help you with your electric car.
Feel free to let us know if there is anything in particular you want to know about....we will get our little fingers tapping at the internet for you and see what we come up with.
Until then, grab a drink, click on the links below and enjoy this weeks 5 items.

Before we go.......Did You Know?
As you know we produce all our own cables supplied to your good selves. Take a look at our Monday Haul.
What a delivery that is....look at all those boxes and cables. Now for us to put it all on to the shelves ready for your orders.

We will be posting this to our social media channels including FacebookTwitter & Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit). If you have access to our blog, you will get an extra item :)

Right, ready.....steady.........GO!!

Feedback, Requests, Questions?
As always, please give us feedback on Twitter. Which item is your favourite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions?  Just send a tweet to @ev_cables and put #EVTuesdays at the end so we can find it.

Have a great week everyone and happy reading!

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: SWARCO E.CONNECT

The SWARCO E.Connect App allows you to Charge your car at any of the chargers we manage across the UK and Europe. Use your app to find and navigate to Charging stations near you and then access the network.

2. EV NEWS: DRIVE ELECTRIC

Helixx develops a new system to manufacture mini commercial EVs anywhere in the world. Helixx, a new global technology company headquartered in the United Kingdom, has selected the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio of industry software and services to aid in the delivery of EV manufacturing systems used in mobility hubs capable of producing mini commercial vehicles anywhere in the world.
A new range of mini commercial electric vehicles, comprised of the CARGO commercial delivery van, TRUCK pick-up for construction sites, and open-body TUK and closed-body RIDE for ride-hailing, can be built anywhere in the world thanks to a new manufacturing system.

3. EV TIP: REGENERATIVE BRAKING

Regenerative braking is a key feature of ULEVs which converts some of their movement (kinetic) energy back into electricity to recharge their batteries. When a driver lifts their foot from the accelerator pedal, the electric motor acts as a generator and creates reverse torque to the front wheels, slowing the car down. This contrasts with conventional brakes which convert movement energy into heat in the brakes, which is then lost to the atmosphere.

4. EV CUSTOMER REVIEW: US! EV CABLES

We get a lot of reviews, but this one really made our day "Best online service I have ever had". EV charging cables can be confusing. This is why we invest so much in support. Thanks for being an awesome customer Jay!

5. EV REVIEW: CAR AND DRIVER

Genesis GV70

Genesis's unique take on luxury is evident in each of its offerings, particularly so in the 2023 GV70 SUV. Instead of creating a low-cost value-player that feels cut-rate, Genesis has created a compact luxury SUV that's, in many ways, nicer and posher than similarly priced rivals, such as the BMW X3 and the Volvo XC60.

It may not have the brand-name recognition of those other SUVs, but the GV70 makes up for it with a splashy look and a beautiful interior that are undeniably upscale, so even if people can't name it, they'll know it's high-end when they see it.
