EV Tuesdays: Week 1

EV Tuesdays: Week 1

Week 1: 9th November 2021

After a fair bit of organising, we're ready to get started with your weekly EV Tuesdays. Each week we'll be bringing you 5 juicy morsels of electric car goodness. They could be EV tips, tools, tutorials, videos, news articles, databases, or whatever else that's come across our or our readers (your!) desks this week.

As you can see through our blog you get one extra item! This will also be posted to Twitter, Facebook, Reddit (check-out the r/evcables subreddit) so get involved and give us any ideas in the comments. We'll hoover them all up to future editions!

Well, alright! Let's get cracking....

1. EV Forum: Speak EV

We often visit Speak EV when we have questions that need answering: "We’re a community for enthusiasts of all makes and models of EV from BMW to Tesla, Renault, Nissan, Mitsubishi and more. Join the electrifying discussion today!".

2. EV Tool: EV Database

Thanks to Isadora our customer support hero for this suggestion! It gives you the up-today specs for all modern EV's. "Our main goal is to accelerate the adoption of sustainable transport by maintaining an easily accessible database with all data regarding electric vehicles. Electric vehicles, in combination with autonomous driving, will be one of the most relevant revolutions in the automotive industry. Autonomous electric vehicles will one day be the norm. "

3. EV Show: Fully Charged

Most of us at EV Cables are fans of the fully charged show. "Fully Charged is the world’s number 1 clean energy & electric vehicle channel hosted by writer, broadcaster and actor Robert Llewellyn, Maddie Moate, Jack Scarlett, Helen Czerski, Chelsea Sexton and Andy Torbet."

4. EV Tool: Charge Your Car

"Want to use our charge points without signing up? Just go to this live map, select the charge point you want to use, and you’ll be directed through to a payment page where you can start the charge and then stop it again once you’re finished."

5. EV News: Discover EV

"At Discover EV we aim to bring you the latest unbiased facts, news and reviews about EVs, battery tech, charging and everything AFV."

Blog Version Extra:

6. EV Tool: Zap Map

"Zp-Map makes electric vehicle (EV) charging simple. We are the UK’s leading app and digital platform for EV drivers to search for charge points, plan longer journeys, pay on participating networks and share updates with other EV drivers."

Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
