2. EV Question: What is the Best Feature on Your Electric Vehicle?

Take a look at our question of the week. Pop us an email, comment on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit or at SpeakEV with your favourite feature and we will let you know the answers next week.

3. EV Tip: Explore Community Charging

If installing a home charging point simply isn’t an option for you, don’t despair. There are alternatives. For instance, you might find it helpful to look into peer-to-peer charging networks such as Zap-Home.

The Zap-Home network shows the home charge points of Zap-Map users who have decided to share them with other EV drivers. Charge point details are visible only to registered Zap-Map users, and owners can offer their home charge point under their own conditions.

Some owners choose to offer charging for free, with others charging a small fee. You may well be pleasantly surprised to see how many Zap-Home points are in your area.

4. EV Charging: Co Charger

Co Charger is a platform that lets you share a charge point within your local community.  Enbaling people with EV chargers to share them with neighbours, so they can swap to an electric vehicle.

5. EV Video: Fully Charged

Stop worrying electric cars WON'T cripple the grid. As electric cars continue to grow in popularity, the demand on the USA's ageing power grid is steadily rising. But is the existing infrastructure up to the challenge? Or will mass EV adoption result in a second dark age?

Blog Version Extra:

6. EV Myth Buster: The Optimist

Think you know all about electric cars? Think again. Writer Stephen Armstrong busts some commonly believed myths about EVs. Turns out, you can charge them in the rain. Check out the 7 myths below.

Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
