EV Tuesdays Week 67

EV Tuesdays Week 67

It's EV Tuesday!

21st February 2023
Hello EV Tuesday fans!

What beautiful weather we are having, sunny and bright but chilly! We hope a few of you took advantage of our Valentine's Day code last week.

This week we have another 5 goodies lined up for you to take a look at. As always, make a cup of tea or coffee, eat up the last remaining chocolates from Valentine's and feast your eyes on these!

We will be posting this to our social media channels including FacebookTwitter & Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit). If you have access to our blog, you will get an extra item :)

Remember to pop us a message or leave a comment with some feedback on what we provide. Tell us what you like, what you don't like and what you would like more of.

Right, ready.....steady.........GO!!

Feedback, Requests, Questions?
As always, please give us feedback on Twitter. Which item is your favourite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions?  Just send a tweet to @ev_cables and put #EVTuesdays at the end so we can find it.

Have a great week everyone and happy reading!

1. EV APP OF THE WEEK: CO CHARGER

The Co Charger app looks after the ‘matchmaking’ between ‘Hosts’ (those with chargers) and ‘Chargees’ (those wanting to charge). It handles communication, booking and payments, making the process quick, simple, and hassle-free.

2. EV NEWS: ENERGY LIVE NEWS

Octopus offers heat pump as cheap as a gas boiler. Buying and installing Octopus’s heat pump will cost households around £2,500. Octopus has launched a new heat pump deal aimed at driving down the cost of green home heating technology.

3. EV TIP: CHARGING NETWORKS

Try different charging networks when you don’t need to - so that you have experience and favourites in advance.

4. EV EVENT: FULLY CHARGED LIVE SOUTH

Fully Charged LIVE is a fun-filled, knowledge packed festival of electrification hosted over three days in the Spring.

Designed to inspire people to #StopBurningStuff, this year's show includes an array of visitor attractions, dozens of 'live sessions' and an exhibition of hundreds of companies, with electric vehicles of all shapes and sizes, and a huge selection of home energy options too.

5. EV REVIEW: CAR BUYER

BMW i4

BMW's first all-electric compact executive model has arrived to challenge the Tesla Model 3. The BMW i4 is a vital new model for the brand because it represents the first all-electric model intended to win over buyers of its core BMW 3 Series and BMW 4 Series models.

Not only that but it also locks horns with the Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2, and gives BMW a headstart on Mercedes and Audi in the compact executive electric car class.
