1. EV App of the Week: Charging Time Calculator

How long does it take to charge an electric car? Use the tool below to calculate the total charging time for a single charge of your electric vehicle or calculate the daily charging time for your electric vehicle.

2. EV News: WhatCar

People who buy electric vehicles (EVs) really like them, according to U.S. vehicle registration data, which shows most EV owners tend to buy an EV for their next car, too. Why it matters: The data reveals a growing embrace of electric cars as automakers and the federal government pour billions of dollars into EV and battery production.

3. EV Tip: Use a Garage, When Possible

Sure, sometimes it can be more convenient to park in the driveway or in the street. And, sure, sometimes there’s a bit more clutter in the garage than there needs to be. But for EV drivers who have a garage, keeping the vehicle inside during winter can be a major difference maker. The relative warmth of the garage will help keep the battery charged longer.

Further, a battery left in the cold weather too long won’t perform as well as one kept in warmer air. This also applies to indoor parking facilities at shopping centers, sporting events and any other opportunity where you have the option to park indoors rather than outdoors.

4. EV Review: WhatCar

Genesis Electrified GV70 review. Sometimes waiting so you don’t get caught up in the initial stampede is the best course of action.

Take the Genesis Electrified GV70, which as you may have guessed from the name, is the electric vehicle (EV) version of the brand’s large SUV.

5. EV Video: Car Wow

The Fastest Car of Each Brand. Here it is, the ultimate list of the fastest electric cars in the WORLD! We’ve looked through every electric car currently on sale, and we’ve ranked them all in order of their top speed and 0-60mph time and we’ve included them all in this video!

Now as you can imagine, some of the first cars included in this list aren’t the most exciting. But trust us, as we get towards those at the top of the list, some of the top speeds are absolutely out of this world!

The question is, if you could only choose ONE of these cars, which would it be? Let us know in the COMMENTS!

6. EV Podcast: Watts Under The Bonnet

What you actually want to know about batteries. It’s the beating heart of an electric vehicle yet widely misunderstood - the battery. EV batteries are far more durable than you may think according to Scott Nargar, Senior Manager of Future Mobility and Government Relations at Hyundai Australia.

Until next time. Have a fantastic week!
